Registering with drive.gi is simple and takes just 5 minutes. Make sure you have your driving license ready.

ℹ️ Note: You can hold a license from another country, but all lessons must be conducted in Gibraltar.

Step 1: Install the drive.gi App

The drive.gi app is available on both iOS and Android. Click below to download:

Step 2: Register Your Instructor Account

1. Open the app and enter your email address, then click Next.

   If you're using the app as a Guest, tap Log In / Sign Up first.

2. Check your email for a 4-digit code and enter it in the app.
3. ⚠️ Important: On the sign-up screen, tap "Sign up as an instructor instead" at the bottom.
4. Fill in your Full Name and Mobile Number.
5. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, then tap Next: Your picture.
6. Take a clear, friendly selfie — this will be shown to learners when they book with you.
7. Tap Next: Services and select the services you offer (manual, automatic, own car, etc.).
   • You must:
     • Hold a valid license for the vehicle type for at least 2 years.
     • Ensure learners are insured if using your vehicle.
8. Scan the front and back of your driving license.
9. Tap Complete Sign Up — it may take a few seconds to process.

✅ You're now registered! Your instructor profile will appear in the app.

Step 3: Set Up Your Payout Details

To get paid, complete your Stripe payment setup:

• Tap Complete signup to enter your banking details.
• You’ll need to provide:
  • Email address & phone number
  • Your location
  • Whether you're registering as an individual or business
  • Date of birth & address
  • A brief description (e.g., "I provide driving lessons in Gibraltar")
  • Your bank account for payouts

drive.gi has partnered with Stripe to ensure secure and reliable payments.

Step 4: Create Your Lesson Schedule

Once your payout details are set, it's time to choose when you want to work:

1. Tap Manage schedules in the app.
2. Add the days and times you're available for lessons.

You can update your schedule anytime to fit your lifestyle!
